On 15th of May, Timothy Andrew Hurney, Associate Professor of the International School, Jinan University visited the International School of Guangzhou Huali College. Professor Shuze Tang, the Dean of International School, and Ms. Wei Xu, student consellor of International School warmly welcomed the guest.

Professor Tang showed him around the campus and the International School. Timothy greatly impressed the specific red-brick buildings, green campus environment teaching facilities, sports venues and vegetarian restaurant, and appreciated the unique culture atmosphere, such as Book Bar and student entrepreneurial culture.

Prof. Timothy briefly introduced the situation of work and the life in America during Covid-19 pandemic years and shared his recent teaching experience at Jinan University. He expressed his willingness to help the International School of Guangzhou Huali College and offer some guest lectures and provide training to young staff of international School in teaching and other related projects.

Biography: Timothy Andrew Hurney, born in Wisconsin, American and currently he is living in California. At present, he is Associate Professor in the International School of Jinan University. Timothy teaches to Business Administration and Management and International Economy and Trade majors and his teaching courses are like English public speech, International Etiquettes and International organizations were very popular at the International School of Jinan University. Prof. Timothy is well known public speaker and being invited numerous times over TVs, broad casting programs and large-scale multinational enterprise due to his wide experience in academia and the industry plus his advantages of being native American. Recently, Timothy Andrew Hurney is back to Jinan University and resumed his teaching in the International School of Jinan University.
